Open Water

Dive into the PADI Open Water Diver's course, the single most popular diving course in the world. Open Water Diver is the first level of PADI scuba certification, your ticket to exciting adventure in the underwater world. Cick here for more.

The course includes academics, skill practice in a pool, and actual scuba diving in open water, all under the guidance of your PADI instructor. Because it's performance based, you get as much time as you need to practice your new skills prior to certification. After successfully completing the course, you'll be issued a PADI Open Water Diver certification card. This internationally recognized credential is your ticket to dive charters and resort diving, scuba equipment rentals and purchases, and continuing eductation like the PADI Advanced Open Water and specialty diving programs. This is just the beginning!

Adventures in Diving

At Central Coast Watersports we want to help you increase your diving knowledge, make you feel more comfortable underwater, and introduce you to some exciting special interest areas available to you in diving. This can be done through our Adventrues in Diving experience. This is the first step in moving beyond Open Water Diver to Rescue Diver, Divemaster and even Instructor.

Computers in classroom

Here at Central Coast Watersports, we now offer dive computers in the classroom for our dive training. By incorporating a training program that covers that basic features of dive computers into our student's certification course, we can help students become comfortable with the technology and overcome common misconceptions about dive computers.
