Stecher E. Buss
Stecher's lovge for the water began early, growing up on Siltcoos lake on the central Oregon coast. With 17 lakes and many river and streams in the local area he began his exploration of the water. Through the years he spent countless hours fishing, hunting and snorkeling around the area.
After years of wanting to pursue diving, Stecher took the plunge in 1988 - receiving his Open Water Certification. With a whole new world to explore he spent years discovering the waters of the Oregon Coast at a whole new level.
In 1993 Stecher received his Dive Master Certification and shortly after became a Dive Instructor. He started on a small scale by teaching dive classes out of his garage behind his house. Only a couple of years later in 1995 with the help of close friends and business partners he started Central Coast Watersports.
"Abover or below the water, in dive gear or in a kayak, on the ocean or in a lake, I never find it hard to have a great time on the central Oregon coast."
